Easter 2011

Happy Easter!  We are back to normal life after an exciting Easter weekend!  On Saturday, we took Jonah to Blue Springs, MO for a big Easter EGG-stravaganza! This event featured live music, hot dogs, and 35,000 Easter Eggs to "hunt."  Jonah was in the 0-2 age group, so we thought that since he was one of the older kids and we've been practicing our egg finding skills that we would certainly take home a lot of loot.  Much to our dismay (or relief), Jonah hasn't quite learned how to be "greedy" yet.  He picked up the first egg he found and didn't want to let it go!

On Sunday, we got up early and were pleasantly surprised that the Easter Bunny got our change of address! Jonah didn't hesitate to find all of the graham cracker filled eggs this time!  After a yummy breakfast (Pioneer Woman Pancakes, seriously delicious) we headed to Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Afterall, this is perhaps the most important event we celebrate as Christians!  The resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen!

After church, we were invited to our friends Lexi and Shawn's for Easter dinner.  And BOY, can they cook!  We ate ourselves silly, and still came home with leftovers!  Thanks so much, Lexi and Shawn!

Here are some pics!  Our Pics &Video Page shows a video of the egg-cellent Easter egg hunt! Enjoy!
Thousands of Eggs!

This was the ONE egg he wanted!

I laughed SO hard watching the Easter Egg Hunt video! I love how selective Jonah is when it comes to Easter Eggs...afterall, not all are worthy!
